Engaging learners to use new technologies as designers and creators of knowledge

Vision Statement:

Students graduating from the Oelwein Community School District must possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to succeed in an increasingly complex, global, information-based society.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to facilitate the integration of effective, existing, and emerging technologies, throughout all aspects of our educational community, in order to enhance learning opportunities for all students, to promote lifelong learning for all members of the Oelwein Community School District, and to support the effective use of resources.

Because OCSD is committed to authentic student learning, the district's administration continues their commitment to technology in the classroom.
